Need Help with my Accord
Okay... I don't know if I'm just blind and unable to see it... But I need to find the datalink on my 1997 LX 4-cylinder Accord.
I need to get the code pulled and figure out what to do. And I can't excuse paying a local Honda dealer 85 bucks to just diagnose it. Especially when I've just fallen into hard times.
Judging by my gas gauge and average mileage, I'm willing to bet that it's just the Pre-Cat O2 sensor that went out and it's running open loop the whole time.
I hope someone here can give me a little more advice as to where that pesky little datalink connector is. I mean the dealership said it was along the side of the console on the driver's side. But alas, I can't find it to save my life.
Any and all assistance will be much appreciated.

For 5th Generation Accords:
The 16 pin DLC (Data Link Connector) is attached to the lower dash on the left side; in the vicinity of the left kick panel.

Well thanks for that insight... I found the pesky little bugger right under the ashtray.
At least I know now where Honda hid those little buggers on the Accords like mine.
Thanks again
