white smoke
i just recently finished putting on a new head gasket on my stock std and my car still smokes white from the tail pipe. is it because i have to wait it out for a while before it clears up? or did i do something wrong that i should check? and when i burp the coolant do i just let it run, let it burp, fill it up and repeat till its full?
I think that is common for a while (maybe 40 miles). I think I saw that the smoke for one person lasted like 200 miles. Keep checking your coolant. How many miles have you put on the car since the change?
you gotta let the car runn for a while . . ive always seen white smoke not just beacuse i have str8 piping but its natural how ive seen it if u have a after-market exhaust system . .
Mine lasted for 90-100 miles after replacing it, depends how much you ran it with the bad hg. Have you ever seen the inside of the cat? That is holding all the coolant that went through before. Get out and rip on it!
