Default Idled up and down

I took my car up the street for kicks. This is the first time its been driven in 6 months. I just finished my swap. So i drove it for about 1 minute. Then i put it in neautral(goign down hill) and the idel started to go up and down from 1000 to 2000 rpm's. I drove it back into the garage. let it rest for a minute then turned it back on. It didnt idel up and down. What could of casued it to go up and down.

Oil lights on and Cel light. Cel maybe because i dont have a o2 sensor hooked up. Oil light..i dont knwo why? It has oil. When i turn the key (without it turning the car on) the oil light is on too as well as when i turn the car on. Can some one help please!!

Mine did the same thing. Make sure all your vacuum lines are hooked up right.

yep, check that.

Also, might be time to check the FITV. Someone wrote a procedure recently on how to service it. It will cause surging idle before the car warms up if it isn't adjusted properly.

first of all hook up your O2 sensor.

You may also need to clean your IAC valve. My swap did the same stuff yours is doing including the oil light. I cleaned my IAC valve and mine runs perfect now. As for the oil light, you may have a bad pressure sensor. Mine was sticking, apparently from the engine sitting on a skid for so long is what i figure. I just replaced it and everything is working fine now.

Nope..thats why im asking. The o2 sensor connects on to the downpipe right befire the flexpipe. Ive been trying to get one ,but im having a hard time. Thats why im asking if i can just connect the 02 sensor with out the downpipe, just to get the cel light off.

Also.... the car idles up abd down in neautral, only after driving it for a bit. it doesnt start immediatly.

low coolant level (air bubbles in the cooling system), vacuum leak these are reasons...
