up for sale is my beloved, rare usdm obd1 b18c1 motor. it came out of a 95 gsr 4door, and i purchased it from the original owner of the car, who is a 50 year old bike shop owner. it had about 105k on it, and ive put about 2k miles on it, about 1k of them boosted. this is for the complete motor, from the throttle body to the oil pan. theres no tranny, mounts, or turbo parts included, this is NOT a complete swap. all sensors are obd1 and included, intake manifold, etc. i am not including the distributor or vtec soleniod. the motor runs very strong, and put down 210whp on 7psi of boost, and thats with a faulty ecu that didnt trigger the vtec cam. unfortunately, at the dyno the head gasket went, and will need to be changed before the motor is swapped in. i am including a brand new fel-pro headgasket with the motor. i suggest also having the head resurfaced and a set of arp head studs installed to ensure a perfect seal. the motor starts up and runs strong dispite the head gasket issue, but hasnt been driven since early november. the motor is now out of the car, and i will part out and ship it at buyers expense.

motor is located in central ct, and i prefer pickup, but i will ship at buyers expense. asking 1100 for the complete motor, or 750 for the shortblock and 500 for the head. i will part out, but on only the complete shortblock, and the complete head. please contact me with any questions-aim= handlebarsfsr , email= mghallarin@yahoo.com or pm me.

whats a ballpark figure that your tryin to get for it?

 

i dont have an exact price, as ive seen these things sell for a lot, and some sell for a little. something over 1000 is what im looking for, around 12-1400 seems to be the going rate, but the price variation i found upon searching is quite high. im not desprate to sell, so im not gonna take a lowball offer. im happy to work with buyers on price, and i'll take trades, or trades plus $$ on:

b16 head complete and tapped for ls/vtec
medium sized t3/4
equal length tubular manni

 

i have various b18b parts including a ported and polished head
a set of 17 brand new motegi ff7 black with polished lip, and other things

no wiring harness or ecu. what you see in the pic is what you get. i'll probably include the vtec solenoid, as i wont be needing it for my next motor.
