02 sensor questions....
I failed emissions today and am trying to figure out not only why but what else is going on with the vehicle.
Specs: 93 hatch
b16 stock block, SIR II headcrower 401's, vafc, p30ecu, greddy sp2
I believe the cat is bad, its original i believe my next question is who makes a good cat, the one thats in there is 15.5" long, three bolt flange in the rear and two bolt with a donut gasket up front.
The next question is about the 02 sensor and wiring. We started there to make sure it was getting ref voltage and ground. While idling the sensor read 350mV constant, with a WOT blip going to a max of 500mV....seems wierd that its not varying at idle and going rich at WOT...can anyone maybe provide me with some insight to this. Also if anyone knows where i can find some info on the 02 wiring...on the 02 section of the harness there is a white, green and 2 black wires...and on the chassis part of the harness there is a black, white, green and yellow wires. In most vehicles the 2 black wires are for the 02 sensor heater and are power and ground...not here.....
