The parts are cheap, but the labor will get you. I would say mechanics charge around 400-500 for a clutch install. So I would expect around 250-300 seeing how it is about the same amount of work with cheaper parts.

DAMN, 400-500 for a clutch install? I'm glad I dont live on the east coast. Its 200 here in so cali. or are you talking about everything including parts? cause then that would be more reasonable.....

400-500 was an est for labor and a clutch kit. But anyway, the best way to tell how much it will cost is to pick up the phone and call up whoever your mechanic is. Also I would consider putting in a new clutch seeing how they will already have the tranny out.

Search. For real. There could be some no name "performance" clutches out there that people havent even heard of that is cheaper than what people are going to suggest to you.

If you just have a stock setup or just the usual I/H/E than I would just get a Exedy clutch kit like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1
This clutch kit only works for an 89-91 though(if you have an 89 you would need a 90-91 flywheel), if you have an 88 you will need to search for an 88 clutch. The price is about the same.
If you want anymore information on clutches check out the search and select archived. Lots of good information
