Default Custom Air Box/Duct

Hey guys I want to make an air box for my EF hatch. I want to run a Type R style airfilter ( like a Spoon ) in it. I work at a fabrication shop, so I have access to virtually any tool you can think of... and then some you can't. Does anyone have any pics of one they have made? I wanna make it with an air duct coming from the front left side of my bumper. I don't know if you have seen a recent issue of Honda Tuning, but there was a white CRX with one and that what I want. Any pics, comments, resources welcome! Thanks and Happy New Year. BTW: Motor is built single cam and battery has been relocated so that is not an issue.

Here is my design. More of a shield since it's not sealed up against the filter (to prevent water intake).

Fresh air duct made from the remaining half of the CAI :

Looks good, It's kind of what I am looking for. At the bottom I want something that is going to be more like velocity stack of something so it will RAM the air in. What kind of filter are you using?

Jamez, that is one of the best one I've seen so far. Nice!

This is still a work in progress since I need to obtain some piping fot the BOV. An air inlet will be added next to the headlight in the new bumper that just arrived.

I'll post more pics after I get the car washed and on the road. A Greddy filter is supposed to be attached to that velocity stack but I am having problems finding the correct filter.
