check engine code "5"

Default check engine code "5"

I have a 92 civic sedan ex with a code "5" I looked it up and it was the map sensor. But I changed it and it still thorowing the code what else could it be.

Did you reset the ecu? Are you turbo or supercharged?

i pulled out the hazard fuse. the car is bone stock.

pull the ecu fuse for 5-10 minutes to re-set the ecu.

if the car is bone stock, engine has never been touched....did you ever tamper with wires near the ecu or on the map sensor. If not, it is the map sensor itself.
