1988 CRX SI SPEEDO PROBLEM

Default 1988 CRX SI SPEEDO PROBLEM

hey guys im new to the form i was told to come here for help ......

i got an 1988 crx and the speedo dosent work

i followed the thick black wire on the back of the speedo close to the trani area
but then it just stops and is not connect to anything....i was wondering if someone can explain this to me or how it works, maybe some type of diagram or picture

follow the black wire and in the trannny there should be like a gold looking place where that wire goes. well that wire goes in there and if it dosent like just plug in there. like on mine the core broke off inside make sure there is notihng inside of it first then just put a new speedo cable for another car in and your good.

the black wire is a ground for the VSS
