H22 auto to manual conversion?
As the title says, what do I need to be aware of when converting a h22 engine that once had a auto box to a manual one.
P13 manual ECU?
M2B4 gearbox?
Anything else I need to be aware of?
Thanks in advance

Also while im here is anyone able to help me with the part numbers for the bolts that mate the tranny housing with the h22 block? And possibly the oil pump gears for the h22a?
Thanks
Thanks
you need the shift cables, a manual tranny side engine mount, a rear engine mount from a manual, shifter assembly, eh im probly forgeting more
im assuming the car you have is manual and the engine you bought it auto?
Or
are you trying to convert the car from automatic to manual?
need to be more clear.

sorry to hijack your tread, I am new here too and want to do the swap for 5gen lude I just got from my brother real cheappppppppp. after read and seach info, had a basic understanding of the swap but get little confused by reading many posts from defferent forum, hope someone here would help me out.
1) 97 ecu - is it p5m? people chip it to convert into 5spd, will the V-Tech run?
2) if it work, the wire harness / connector pin need to be repin? as well as for crush control, reverse etc...
3) if not a 5spd ecu is a must for v-tech, and then come across some ecu that people say with red key to program the immobilizer, what about I am getting one ecu from ebay without red key?
4) do I need a 5spd starter? some said fit some not
5) a stupid question, H22a from 95 will fit right?
thanks for the input guys. Also if u have the swap part f/s, please contact me, I am just getting start collecting.
