Did you thread it in correctly? Crossthreaded? Use any teflon tape when you reinstalled it (not sure if you're supposed to or not, I did).?

You're supposed to use Hondabond, not Teflon Tape, on the oil pressure sending unit and sensor.
As for your crack, well, that's unfortunate. Take pictures and maybe we can help you.

So you split the block, damaging the oil passage. That sucks hardcore. You might be able to get it welded, but if you did enough damage in that area, you might have to get a whole new block.
Be more careful next time.

leaked slowed but its still there.. cleaned it up and threw some more JB weld on it.. theres no way im gonna be able to trust it long distances, etc. you know what i mean? any ideas? i called a local shop and they seemed to know what i was talking about right away so im guessing it happens.. but in order for them to weld it they would have to take off the intake manifold, etc. to get to it which would lead to some crazy labor.. is there anything else i can do ? and has anyone ever had theirs welded? and if so how much were you charged? or if anyone would like to throw some prices at me let me know
if it were me i would swap out the block. im all about keeping stuff reliable. i dont know how reliable welding the block is but i know putting one thats not cracked in there is good
but if you have to pay someone to do the swap then that could be expensive. what it comes down to is that if you cant fix/do it yourself, its gonna cost you some cash

find a local guy that can weld aluminum. take off the intake matifold and have him weld that crack shut.
