What's with the dip between 4500 and 6300 rpm?

the first dip there is a wrong vtec cut in point and I believe the vtec correction point hasnt been touched at all.
PS: should have dynoed the car on 4th gear, loading more realitive.

Well, he has a VAFC. Probably lowered the x-over.

Pretty good increase, 15Kw or so over stock.

But yeah that dip is weird.

Yeah, I don't believe the crossover point was touched. What are your reasons for dyno-tuning in 4th gear as opposed to 3rd? By the way, Y there's a HSCC track day at Calder in April. Cheers!

you need more afford for the engine to pull on the same rpm with 4th gear and 3rd gear, and the reason why i said it is more real time is on the dyno, roller sort of free moving, on the real world, the road has given you more friction. That is what i mean by more realistic, plus ppl in automotive world saying kW at the wheels normally 4th gear dyno tuning.

PS:stock typeR normally read around 84-86 kW at the wheels in 4th gear, so i would say your car would get about 92-94 kW @ wheels after tuning with 4th gear?

If that's the case, why not dyno-tune in 5th gear? Cheers!
