Default Move a wire on the ecu and the car dies???? need help. *searched*

ok i have an 88 crx si with the pm6 ecu.. it was chipped for turboedit... anyway the cars runs ok until the ecu is moved and then the car will sputter and smoke black and dies.. it just floods out. i took the harnesses off the ecu and looked at the wires and wiggled them but none seem to be loose... anyone have any ideas?? kinda sucks that when i get on it and get some tire spin the car starts smoking and dies... it has to be wiring because it only happens when the ecu is moved.. please help if you can cause this is really annoying.... thanks

find something non-conductive (plastic or wood) and start poking wires til it happens.

i know on mine it runs ok till u take the ecu off it's mounting posts, it will run realy bad and / or stall out. i fixed it by grounding the case to the ground wires on A plug inside the ecu. so far works for me. i can lay the ecuon the carpit and it wont affect it.
