I replaced my knock sensor and its still throwing the code and pulling timing, yet when I pull plugs they are white meaning lean. I thought it should be running rich? Car still pulls pretty hard with CEl and running virgin p30 with jdm sir2 motor. I am awaiting to get a chipped p28 from mtber which eliminates knock sensor when funds come in but is there going to be any permament damages to my block if I keep driving it with the ecu reading with no knock sensor, or is it just going to kill my performance and gas? thanks. and I'm running shell 93 gas so Its not knocking nor pinging. May be a break in the line somewhere or the ecu itself.

 

did u run the wire right to the ecu? what car is the motor in?

i would recheck ur wiring if u wired it to the ecu direct and make sure the pin is in the right location and pushed in properly

 

i did not od the swapp. Its a b16 in a eg. the wire does go to the ecu, pin then i dont know.
