Alright... I have the opportunity to buy a wrecked 2000 ITR. Engine is fine, suspension is fine, wheels are fine etc etc, just tons of body damage. $5500 by the way... Now my dilemma is I am currently building a GSR engine for my 92 hatch (bottom end anyway). Do I a) keep my engine, sell type-R engine, keep the wrecked type-r and all its goodies for myself and to sell, OR b) keep the engine, sell all the goodies, sell my engine and put the type-r engine in my hatch, stock for the most part. Either way i come out about even cash wise. Let me know!! Thanks!

keep the ITR engine, swap all the ITR stuff into the hatch, sell or keep GSR engine =/, sell all the stock parts and ITR parts you cant use

 

But see, my GSR engine will be roughly 12.5:1 CR and rock solid. The whp on the GSR engine will far exceed that of the stock R engine. Plus if i keep ALL the R stuff, i will be mega in the hole cash wise...

sell the r motor, keep the goodies and the C1...whats the point of having a C5, when ur building up ur C1 which will undoubtably outperform the ITR motor.

 

keep the ITR head. sell the R block with a B16 head and inform the buyer that it has a B16 head on it. keep the R interior, 5 lug conversion and wheels, sell everything else...

Yeah way to post the link for the car. When you get a bad *** buy like that you should keep it to yourself where you're getting it from. Maybe I'll buy the damn car if you're debating. I have plenty of things in mind I can do with it.

 

sell me the tranny for $700!....see already making money!

 

keep the ITR tranny and head.
keep your beefed up GSR bottom end.
sell everything else.

i dont have the initial 5500 to buy the damn thing so go for it. Besides, that link is for the auction place, not a salvage yard. You'd have to show up at the aution to get it.
