sup fellas, i'm having a problem with my driver side axle popping out once in a while, It's happen to me two times, I also used a diff. axle and it still not locking in place. Do i need a d16z6 driver side axle with an l3 tranny? i don't think so being that it's an l3 tranny right? so what can cause this? i was told it could be the spider inside the casing it's worn can this be right?

 

I have never heard of this problem. Are you sure it is popped in all the way? Is the little clip/ring still intact? Good luck.

 

I'm pretty sure someone has had this problem b4 i can't be the only one on the web with this cluster f*** The clip is new directly from honda.

 

Try expanding the C clip so that it locks into the diff more securely. Ive had a few axles pop out on me but expanding the clip has fixed the prob. Just dont get crazy with it or you will have issues popping the axle out. hth

 

Just go get a new clip. also... not to sound stupid, but if tthere was a swap or anything done, make sure the correct axels were used

 

I have 2 driver side axles meant for the L3 crx si tranny both keep popping out, i will try to expand the clip to see if it locks in the diff. if it does then the diff is worn kewl i'll try . thanks
