Hi, I was wondering if a 5th gen Heatshield would be a direct bolt on to my usdm 4th gen vtec???

why would it matter u dont have to use it

 

well is there for a purpose right! The reason why I want to replace mine is because is ugly rusted as hell, my car is not modded in any form, just want things to look clean in the engine bay that's all. I compared some pics in the gallry and they look very similar perhaps the same, so I'm picking one up that's for sale.

 

well wen u put aftrmarket header on u dont use a shield so i dont see why its that big of a deal

 

doesn't the heatshield keep things cooler rather than having any hearders bare open? Just a question?????

 

wrap the header! it will actually help your performance AND keep the heat down.


neil
