Default Do I need this?

I don't have a pic, but it's that canister that is under the fuel filter and runs a Orange hose to the t-body? I think it takes in gas fumes but I'm not sure. If I don't need it then how can I get rid of it? I am putting in a B18A and it will see very little daily driving so I need to get ride of everything I really don't need.

Since you are in Florida, no you do not need this. Remove everything except the hose from the firewall to it, just direct that down. Whatever you do, don't seal it off or your gas tank will become very irrate.

One of the items you can remove, it is the actual Purge Control Solinoid I believe, the other has to remain, that is your MAP sensor.
