ok i'm new to the honda world. i blew my engine a while ago and got a new one from japan. all i know is that its a d15b something. the paper work that i got with the engine said it comes with 130hp but it feels no where near and fast as my old engine. i can feel that it pulls harder then the old engine. but thats about it.

i'd just like to get alittle more info on my engine, and its its worth me putting alittle money into it.

also i am in need a new tranny depsretly. so how much of an affect would that have on my engine performance? on the means of getting the power to the ground.

getting the power to the ground, tanny doenst make a difference, but shorter gears help acceleration. To find out info on your motor, look at the stamp on the block left of the header and behind the radiator. then search it. and you should turbo that motor!

 

Sounds like you have a jdm d15b vtec. What car is this going into?

 

What was your old motor?

 

um the old motor was a 1.5.
