ok, this isnt happening anytime soon...I'm just asking for future reference...

I'm saving for a K20 swap into my 2004 Civic vp (dx)...I know the engine itself is pretty much a direct bolt in,....but will a K20 engine bolt to the D17 tranny? even if it does,...my thinking is the D17 tranny may not handle the K20's power or w/e....sorry if its a newb question ,....I just havent found anything on it...

everything i've read points to this answer. you're better off getting a transmission that came from a k-series vehicle. i believe the DC5R's came with an LSD
