Hey i have a 99 civic Ex and i was looking to upgrade my breaks, i was looking at some brembo slotted and drilled roters, but the kit dosent come with the caliper, and it also says they work with the stock calipers and break lines, it says plug and play. Will these make the car stop better? and if not any suggestions? thanks
This topic is up on the wall. Some people swear by slotted and/or drilled rotors. I personally don't like or use them. I will suggest that you don't get them unless you are planning to do some serious racing in your car. They are absolutely pointless on daily driven cars.
Suggestions, go with some nice pads (I use Hawk) and brembo blank rotors (stock replacement). I have those as well and I love my brakes. If you are looking to really upgrade your brakes I say get rear discs and upgrade to a larger master cylinder and brake booster.

well this car is supercharged and it dosent like to stop at all so by just chaning the pad will make a diff?

Im sure it being charged makes not a bit of difference of how the car stops
But yes, sometimes just a good pad can make a lot of difference.
If you dont like that idea, then upgrade to integra calipers and a larger mc/bb. But please please please search, because this has been covered to death
