Ive been looking at getting the dual halo v2 with blue ion from sonar I think it is. But Ive been hearing that these ones burn out quickly and have foging problems? Do any of you have these lights and can tell me if they are any good? If not I might just the the TYC lights

Do not listen to this guy. a HID kit into Halogen projectors with no sheilding will give you made glare and is a waste of money to get a HID kit

i had those ebay halos... but i am back with the stocks with G35 HIDs..

the halos were ok.. but compared to stock headlights, you cant really see as good.. invest in some HIDs instead of new headlights.. OH! and the halos burnt out after about a month.. there are 2 LEDs per ring, and all but 2 of my LEDs burnt out, but they were flickering on and off... i hated it.. i just cut the wires.

EDIT: if you get projectors.. i suggest the TYC's..

this was the first day the sonar halos were on my car.. looked good for about a month..

*sorry about the pic size.. i tried to modify it. but didnt work*

sexy *** paint on that eg btw

they say dont put HID's in them. theres a sticker some where on them. Im still putting them in, i just hope nothng melts

btw, mine did the same, flicker then go out one by one. and i found the reason, theres a thread on here that explains y and how to fix it.
something about they only need 3volts and 12 is over powering them. you need a resistor i think it was, to lower the amperage going to it. like $5 bux a radio shack.
my buddy has TYC's... there great... but i cant get away from the halo's.. throw some eyelids on them and your hatch never looked meaner

mine never fogged up btw.
heres another brand i saw, they just dont have the third light (parking light) in a circle, it looks like a smoked corner, pretty nice actually. and these come with a resistor, the guy who owns this car had his halos working for 3yrs now.

the corner IS fogged up tho.. the other isnt tho..
he dropped it he said

thanks! the paint was 3 days old at the time... its over almost 2 years old now!

i wish i knew about the resistor thing... so did i burn them out? or would putting in a resistor fix it? whats the part number for the right resistors?

i have a pack of 330 ohm resistors... part #271-1113 (radioshack) is that enough to bump the Volts down 9amps?

sorry those are long gone Now. All you will need is some 6w Resistors.

Now this is more helpfull! Thanks for actually givin halo positive feedback! Haha. Yeah I think I'm going to go ahead and buy some. I really dont want to go ebay because I havent found any of the style I like with a warrenty or return policy. I just found these k2 off their site. Is this a decent price?

http://www.k2motor.com/lhp-cv96jmb.html

Im thinking of going with these insted of the duals off of matrixracing.com

Think those K2's will look tight on my civic??
