Soldering oxygen sensor wires
What are people using to solder their O2 sensor wires?
I have some unknown-brand solder, and it simply does not form a bead on the O2 sensor wires. It works great for just about every other wire I've ever attempted to solder. But it drips off like water from the O2 wires!

It seems more like a problem with the soldering iron/gun than with the solder itself. What you're describing sounds as if the wire isn't being heated to a high-enough temperature to allow the solder to properly melt and flow.
I thought so too. Which is why I went from a 15 watt iron to a 150 watt gun.
Either I'm still not heating up the wires enough, or these wires require some insane amount of wattage.

I don't see why the wires would require an exceptional soldering gun. Since you already upgraded the equipment and are still having difficulty, it certainly couldn't hurt to stop somewhere like Radio Shack or your local hardware store to pick up some new solder (possibly smaller diameter).

that's what I was going to suggest.

I have had the problem before, it just takes more heat and more time. Maybe because the wires are not copper ? Copper retains heat better, just a though.
get the thinnest solder you can find and you will be super happy...i have a huge roll or this tiny stuff and its sooo much easier flux works well too
