Extending o2 sensor wires
What is the best way to extend the wires on an o2 sensor?
I cut the ends off of the wire and inside is a ton of shielding with what looks like only 1 conductive wire. The wires just arent long enough to reach from my bung on my exhaust manifold to the plug.

Re: (JDMb18civic)
or you could take your harness all apart and run longer wires....but if you did that id have to bounce my hand off your face a couple times. im not sure exactly how else besides splicing in wires you might have thought would be easier.

Re: Extending o2 sensor wires (94si94cx)
its real easy man.... i did it to my oil pressure sender (granted.. less wires) but all you do is cut one, extend one... cut one, extend one........ Use solder if you want a nice connection.

Re: Extending o2 sensor wires (B18EG6)
I ended up using non-solder aircraft strength connections (my buddy works tech at Delta). I haven't hooked it up yet because I'm at work, but that should be the last thing to get my car running correctly.
btw- What things will make a car run in "limp mode"? Knock sensor and o2 sensor are the only things I know of.
