Default what next on the 99 lude

hey i just picked up a grand for the lude and can't decide what to get. here are my mods i/h/e findanza flywheel, stage3 clutch, manual tensioner an no balance belt . I was thinking of a p28,hondatas200 and tune or the ssautocrap turbo and chip tune a p28 .Now i know this is not the best way go but it could be done and fine tune it along the way with future upgrades. n/a is nice but a long road and an average turbo will put you in the mid 14s .I'd really like to go n/a but with my mods how far away am I from a low 14s car. I'm guessing 3000 dollars. But anyway 1000 how would you spend it???

I would spend it on suspension or cosmetics, because unless you have a solid $3000 to turbo it correctly, I wouldnt jump into it.

you need proper suspension man. Youll see how important it is. If you already have that, than i would suggest a proper header. If you already have that than you can save up for a jun cams in my opinion and then tune away.

you should be able to run mid 14's with your mods in a 5-spd 5th gen.

well I haven't been to the track sence the mods where done but I think i'd be lucky to hit a 14.9... I've got neuspeed springs and front and rear strut bars sittin on a set of polished subzero's... I could use some shocks but I want more power...has any one out there used one of these ssautocrome turbos and what were the results...my boy's are junk yard turboing there civics and putting down nice #'s...I know the h22 is a defferent breed but i'm thinking 5 psi and a moderate tune on a p28 couldn't it hang till i get injectors and hondata... or maybe not ... the easy way out is a p28,hondata,a collector mod and tune but not as sweet as the turbo oh well ...WHATS THE VERDICT???

yeah your good for low to mid 14's if you can drive with your current setup. Don't waste your time turboing the H series. I don't give a rats *** what anybody tells you, the motor was meant for N/A - leave it how Honda intended it to be built.

Your stock fuel system is good for way more power than you're making... high-flow fuel components can't hurt, but they won't do anything for you unless your current ones are bad.

Rushing your install and purchase of products, and hoping that " it will hang " until you get enough money to complete the job the correct way is a very good way of digging yourself into a money hole and learning a very blatantly-hard lesson.

A GOOD header (dont waste money on collector mod for Megan)... Get an RM-F header and get Hondata and have it tuned.. RMF header can be had for $600, pick up a used Hondata and then tune it.. You will net more whp than adding AEM pulley's and other crap.
