Default ??? Is there a difference in halfshafts for cable and hydro ???

hey guys, i've been looking for a halfshaft for my ls/vtec swap into my 88 dx. i have everything but the halfshaft, linkage, and ecu. i just need to know what halfshaft will for sure work. I have the y1 tranny and some axles that came from the sir crx. So, i found a hydrolic halfshaft but i'm not sure if it will work or not. if it will, what axles will i need? if it won't, what axles do i need with the 90-93 halfshaft, will the sir ones work? thanks guys.

they have different part numbers, but i've never seen the two side by side. I doubt the hydro style will work because the hydro axles have different inner joints.
