**is there a difference in HYDRO & CABLE (b-series) axles?
this will be going to a 90 si.
I heard somewhere in SEARCH that if you use a hydro Bseries tranny you have to use the Bseries hyrdo axles, .........same with cable tranny, cable Bseries axles?
I just got a GSR compelte swap, so i'm thinking about doing the hydro conversion or selling the GSR tranny for a JDM B16 tranny.

Yes, the axles are different.
In 94+ axles, the axles are just slightly longer due to the chassis being a little wider, in cable type trannies in EF or DA's, it mainly depends on what tranny and what intermediate shaft you use.
I would definitely get something like a YS1 or J1, or any other type cable tranny, and the ideal axles you will need is 90-93 Integra axles -- assuming you have a 32mm axle hub.

Thanks for the great info.
So if i did use a JDM B16 cable tranny i know what axles i can use.
What if i use the GSR hydro tranny.... do I still have to use the older cable teg axles like i would in a cable B16 tranny becuse you did mention that the HYDRO axles are LONGER due to the width of the frame.
please give me more info.

Re: **is there a difference in HYDRO & CABLE (Charlie Moua)
The axle seal on the driver's side of the tranny case will have to be changed on the older cable tranny if you use a 94+ Integra Intermediate shaft. You will also need a newer B series axle with male / female end to match the intermediate shaft.
I've always used either 88-89 Teg axles or 90-93 Teg axles on my EF swaps. It depends which Intermediate shaft Im using. Either the S1, J1, or the oddball ( longer) Y1 shaft.
Hope that info helps.
