Default gauge question on DA

i just received autometer gauges for christmas and im wondering where is the best place to tap the lights on? thanks..

tap the light? u mean for power? look up a wiring diagram..check TI

yep.. so the lights on the gauge will turn on when i turn the park light on.. someone said tap into the cluster but im having a problem pulling my cluster out..
so any other place?

u can run a yellow wire to the fuse box and look for the fuse that says lights that the way i have it

behind the light dimmer switch is where i have mine, works great and its been 3yrs now no probs

The easiest way is to just tap it into the radio fuse or interior light fuse on your fuse box.

That's the best place... it allows you to dim the guage lights with the rest of the cluster so everything looks uniform.
