America's Tire has the certificate where they will replace the tire if it gets damages, you know lumps, nails and so on.
It cost $9.50 per tire. I had a buddy who had 40 series on his 92 accord and he went through 5 tires, but because he had the cert they were replaced free.

YAY or NAY?

 

I have a goof friend who works for discount tires and swears that there warr. is good. buys it himself at the same price.

Probably almost $40 of pure profit to the dealer. How much do Azenis cost and how likely are you to damage them?

Your friend that went through five tires has other issues.

 

I was told the tires should be here on Thursday.

My friend was running 40 series tires so they were pretty low profile and more easily prone to lumps.

I wouldn't get too exited. When I ordered mine 6 WEEKS AGO they said "oh yeah, my computer shows here that some store in California has 10 of them in stock ready to go." So I ordered 4, thinking I got really lucky, payed for them in full, and 6 WEEKS LATER here I am waiting patiently for my tires to arrive. Stores all over the country showed them in stock but noone has them.

went to discount tire and bought some azenis today. i pick them up tommarow morning to get mounted . but wait....i got 215-45-16

 

yeah what size did u order. I ordered mines march first, and was told to wait until sometime in april.

 

I called today to check on an order I placed a week ago. They just got them in the Ohio warehouse and they're shipping out tomorrow. So I'll be getting mine by the end of the week.

 

I am about to order mine, but haven't heard back from Revolutions Motorsports yet...... Maybe it's time to just order them?

Hmmmm- I talked to Discount Tire 2 days ago & they said 93 backorders & not even expecting a shipment to them until the end of the month! They weren't even sure if they'd have enough to fill their backorders.

Good luck getting them by the end of the week - maybe America's Tire has them all

I think it really depends on where you're from. Has anybody received tires from a warehouse that wasn't the closest one to them? When I ordered, there were 40 something people on the list. I made sure with the sales rep that I was part of the list for the next shipment coming in.

 

Good luck. I tried placing an order at america's tire online today -- said stock at one of their warehouses was "good"...but i got an email saying theyre on backorder for 4-6 weeks still..so dont believe everything u read on tires.com.

oh well...ill have to look elsewhere because my azenis's which ive had since august are just about bald.

 

i ordered 205/50/15, I am expecting a call to tell me that they are on back order , but I hope not . I'll find out soon, otherwise the guy offered me a set of Kuhmo 712 for $69 a piece, I'll get those if this does not fall through. better than nothing....

 

never minds you guys never listen to me anyhow. even if i tell you where they are instock.

Just called DiscountTireDirect and they gave me my tracking numbers. I'm getting the tires tomorrow. So for those of you that need them, call them up just in case they still have some in stock.

I went to Americas tire so I wouldn't have to pay for shipping.

How much is it for shipping on tires anyways?

 

That confused me too. I called and the guy on the phone said the stock says good becuase they do have a set there, but its being held for someone who has a set of wheels coming in that haven't come in yet. Apparently, they still consider that in their inventory.

The guy also said dicount is recieving a large shipment sometime in April, they dont know when though. And they dont even think theyre gonna be able to fill all the backorders

As for me, I have to start looing for some different tires

 

hmmm.. I work at a tire store, and I called Falken direct today and they said it would be mid april before I could get any 205/50r15 azenis

 

I can say that Ameirca's tire did not fall throught but I did get them from Victorias tire.com today..
