Motor chugging when shifting..

For some reason my 91 DA when I shift my car drops down in rpm's and even thouigh Iam giving gas it seems like thr throttle reponse is very slow.Feels like somthing is clogged er sumthin someone help me out

There could be a lot of possibilities for this problem...

How does your car idle?

Could be the tps, maybe timing is off...there are many things that might cause it

When was the last time it had a tune up?

Then I would suggest getting a full tune up, if you havent had one in awhile I dont think it would hurt anything, and mention it to the mechanic when you bring your car in.
