Ok iv had nothing but issues with my damn car for the past 6 months or so and now im getting mad like (the first person to throw some cash this way can have it) pissed. Ok the other day i was driving down the road and the car just died I started the car and was like Oh well and was on my way. Then the next day i was on my way to work and the car died again but would not turn over. So my question is what could cause this, there are no cel's nothing the car drives fine but just dies.

 

anyone.... i know i just posted it but i have to be at work by 5am.

 

sounds ignition related check your ignitor,coil,cap and rotor

will the ignitor shut the car off if its already running?

 

im not sure but a bad coil will

 

id check the coil

 

where is the coil on the dist? and is there any way to test it?

this is a issue with obd0 stuff regardless it is vtec or non

the dizzy suck *** I had to replace two of them in the pass 3 years

yes it can cause the car to die but so can a main relay(under dash on driver side panel)

what do i look for in the main relay?

 

try a new relay see if it fixes it but there is a checking procedure with a multimeter...not sure where you get that though

 

ok the car starts for a sec then shuts off. wtf could it be? I searched the info on the relay and its didnt match to my symptoms..

The main relay has been the cause of alot of strange problems. It might be worth it to change it.

 

what ignitor/coil do i get at the parts store. do i get the one for a 90-91 integra.

 

fixed the prob. it was the coil. thanks for everyones help.
