my car wouldnt start this morning. i checked the spark and i got none. the only thing i can think of is the distributor. does anybody else know what might be wrong???

i did. i think it might be the ignition coil

check your fuses too....never forget to check the fuses. under dash and under hood

I'll bet it's the coil too.

chech the ignitor first. coils dont go bad that often.

You've got that backwards.

My shop does twice as many coils than we do ignitors.

Not saying it isn't possible, but the coils do usually go bad before the ignitor.

You also can't rule out the occurance of BOTH going bad at the same time. It's very rare, but it can happen.

ok... here it is...

i just changed out the ignitor and ignition coil that my friend got me and the car is fine. i dont know which ONE it is, but its one of them. thx for the replys. im happy again

BTW... how much are coils and ignitors anyway??...

how much does the ignitor and coil cost? theres nothing wrong with my sparks. i just changed my: cap , rotor, plugs and wire

i was just wondering the cost of those 2 just in case i need to change one day, and is it hard to change? thanks
