Default 90 crx no start

I am having trouble with my 90 crx, duel point injection. I'm not getting any fuel delivered. There is power to the fuel pump when the wires are disconnected, but when I connect the power wire it disappears. or gets grounded out, what is causing the power to disappear. I've checked the fuel injectors, they check ok. The main relay checks ok. and the fuel pump is good. Any ideas or answers would be greatly appreciated.

you need a main relay. even if it checks ok, crank the car and smash the dash on the left hand side above the vent, if it starts, you've found the culprit

What good does hitting the dash do? Is there a short in the main relay?

just TRUST ME. it works. if the main relay is the problem, the car will start

Find the main relay and put the butt end of a screwdriver on it. Have someone crank the car and tap the other end of the screwdriver with a wrench or small hammer. Same as the above post, just a different way that always works for me.

Or just pull it out and look at it, when the solder goes you can see the cracks, just resolder it and you will be all set. Takes about 20 minutes, including removal and installation, most of that time is waiting for the iron to heat up.

Hey, thanks for the info. I didn't hit the dash, but just smacked the relay and no problems. I was getting ready to sell this thing. Thanks again
