I have a shell and I'm trying to find the keyless controls, the car came with a remote. It doesnt work, so i assume i have to reprogram it or i dont have the controls.

So where would i find the keyless controls on a 97 gsr

The 97 Integras did not come stock with the keyless entry.

 

was it a factory option? this gsr had leather so it might have been an upgrade.

 

I think it was only available with the factory security system on the 97's.

 

where is the security system located? I just find it odd that he gives me an remote with the car which is the correct remote for that year car when it doesnt go with the car.. On the driver side door there is a odd looking box that i dont know what it is, its orange and I dont have one on my del sol.

 

its under the drivers seat.
