Default Keyless Entry Question

I just bought a base 97 lude and all the previous owner had was one key.
So, immediately I wanted to make some duplicate keys and get a keyless entry remote.

Did all 97 preludes come with keyless entry, if not how do I find out if my car was equipped with it?

If my car already has keyless entry how would I program a remote to the car?

Does anyone know how much it would cost to get a key made at honda? (I was told
I had to get it made at Honda b/c the anti-theft system)

thanks in advance for your feedback

I just bought a 97 Prelude SH and it doesn't have keyless entry on it either. I don't think all/any preludes came equipped with it in 1997.

As for getting your key made, I'm pretty sure it's kinda expensive.

all preludes 99 and up came with keyless entry as a standard feature, the alarm was an option. The 97 and 98 preludes had to get upgrades for any keylessentry/alarm. Hope that clearifies some what.

thanks for the info guys.

I guess I'll just install a aftermarket keyless entry kit.
