how can i reset my ecu on 88 civic hatch or since my ecu blinks 7 times how can i fix my throttlebody angle cuz every time my check engine light turns on my car lags on the gas

 

pull the hazerd fuse in the under hood fuse box wait 10 sec and put it back in

 

Fix your TP Sensor. Goto a junk yard and take one off of another car. Rivet that sucker on (after taking the defective one off of course) and plug it in. Afterwards, reset the ECU by the hazard fuse under the hood. No more code 7 for you.

 

another way to reset the ecu is to disconnect the neg. terminal on the battery...

but your radio presets will go bye-bye.

 

This has nothing really to do with reseting your ECU, but, the car will still run w/o the hassard fuse in the car. I still don't understand how/why the hassard fuse is the one to pull. I know it is because the Helms manual tell you so...
