DC2 Dash Swap into EF8 CRX
Alright I decided to recreate the topic since there's a war in the other one!!!
So here it goes.
I'm doing the DC2 integra dash swap in my small EF8 CRX and i was wondering how can i keep heat, and does the DC2 integra steering column fit or do I need to stick with the OEM crx column, what about cutting does someone knows where i should cut so it could fit perfect like it would be OEM ?!
Thank you and i hope there won't be any war in this topic again !!!

okay let me start by saying you're in for a lot of work but thats okay if u have paticience its all worth it at the end. u use your stock sterring colum. u can still keep the heat but u have to take your time when u are cutting the back of the dc2 dash in order for it to line up with the crx vents. the door panels have to be custom. the cluster has to be rewired and u have to use a vss sensor forn a 92 civic for the speedometer to work. ull have to make custom braket to hold the dash on the sides and use a long screw in the middle. if u take your time it can be done i have the wirring diagrams on how to do the cluster conversion. ive done a couple of 92 civics. 1 crx, and 1 91 civic and it make the car look so much newer.
the crx is 2 boxy but the DC is too round. the best candidate is the DA because its boxy round. i've seen a crx and a hatch both with DA dash conversions and they look great. i'll get some pics in the next week.

I'm curious as to what technique and materials ZhaGg used to make his custom door panels they look factory.
A parts list of what is required of the donor dc2 for the swap would be a big help as well. This is what I have gathered so far feel free to correct or add info.
-Custom Brackets
-Modified vent system for heat and a/c
-swap VSS sensor
-rewire dash for dc2 cluster, clock, climate control, other switches & controls
-cut dash to fit
-custom door panels

The doors are a hybrid of a DC2 front side and CRX rear door panel grafted together with fiberglass. I brought it to a shop in Salt Lake (Town & Country) and they covered it. (You gotta go pro on the cover, otherwise you will regret it...) You at least need to have proffesional adhesive.
Hope that helps
