so i have to replace my door panels and want to get some black ones. i saw that i can buy ex door panels(i think) for about $300 w/pw and locks. if i bought this how much would it cost to have the power windows and locks installed or could i do it myself, and if i could how long or hard is it? anyone done this b4 or know??

its quiet simple. not that long. also depends how much experience you have on experimenting good luck. take pics on the follow up

 

I've gotten a couple of estimates and was told anywhere from 6-10 labor hours for the installation of power windows and locks into my civic. Either you guys are extremely fast or these people are trying to steal my money.

 

It took me a little over an hour to pull the stuff from my old door and put it all into a new door shell. That was with me completely swapping doors out w/ glass/lock assembly, ect.

Swapping out regulators took maybe 15 minutes.

Going from manual to power windows I'd say maybe 1 1/2 hours per door (max) plus how long it takes you to pull up your carpet and run all of the other wires.
