Cigarette lighter is not hooked up, last time i tried to hook it up with the logical connections i blew a fuse. If anyone has a 5th gen Lude if you could do me a favor and pull the radio and just see what color hot wire that powers the lighter is.

my cigarette lighter never worked either... i definitely get power out of it tho cuz i put a power inverter in the dash to power my laptop. is there a different wire for the lighter? if not ill get back to you next time i pop that **** off... i try to do it as little as possible cuz i installed a little switch plate in the place of the ac controls and i wired some of the things too tight. everytime i take it off i gotta unscrew a couple of the switches.

 

don't the japanese ludes come with lighters? Anyway you can just swap the entire console?

 

lol just about every ****** car ever, has a lighter man.

5th gens is low on the dash, just above the shifter.

I dont take my **** apart and it works fantastic.

My 5th gen doesn't have a ligher or an ash tray. I love it, a cig have never seen the inside of my car.

 

Yellow is the power wire which just hooks into your ignition switch power. The little black wire is your ground of course

You mean the lighter or the actual plug in electrical source assembly? You can buy a lighter anywhere but the assembly you gotta order from a stealership or hondaautomotiveparts.com...

I have never used a lighter in the 4 years I have owned my cars.

 

i read the owners manual when i first got the car, and i read that that power jack will not work as a cigarette lighter. its only a power jack. dont remember the specifics but im sure that it will not power a cig lighter oh well ahha

 

My cig lighter doesn't work for my 4th gen, whenever I get a phone charger for my car is when I will fix it haha.
