H-Brace or Frt Stabilizer Bar SAME??

Default H-Brace or Frt Stabilizer Bar SAME??

ok so i wana do some suspention upgrades on my 99 si im currently running the tein hr damper kit...and i was lookin at getting some strut bars and stuff and i came across this on ebay..


does the H Brace take the place of the stabilizer bar or is it better then the stabilizer bar....thanks...

well the h-brace just ties in 4 points of the chassis on your car while the stabilizer bar(anti-roll bar) connects your two lower control arms with end links. youd probably notice more of a difference with the sway bar but it would just create more understeer for you. the h-brace would make the chassis a little stiffer but probably wouldnt be as noticable. If I were you I would just go with a rear sway bar lower tie bar combo from comptech or a-spec racing. then later if you wanted to make it stiffer then go with that 4 piece combo off ebay. hope this helps.

Are you talking about the sway bar? That H-brace is completely different than a sway bar....a swaybar reduces body roll by tieing the 2 sides together with a torsional spring. That H-brace just keeps the chassis from flexing at the suspension mounts which it probably won't do in the first place...
