The pole is a JDM optional accessory that extends up from corner of bumper.
Used for them tight parking areas in Japan, used for reference of bumper location.

 

I just picked up a brand new JDM parking pole for my EK. Came with harness, brackets, switch and instructions. Problem: The instructions are in Japanese. I need directions on how and where to plug the harness and how does it mount in the bumper. The instructions it came with where no help.

Wiring and mounting will probably be different since yours is for a EK, but its probably simple, drill hole in bumper, mount pole to bumper support, and since you got the whole harness, theres probably just a ground and positive that would hook up to your under dash fuse box.
