A little pole that comes out of the corner of your front bumper so you don't hit the wall when you're parking. JDM-rice-o-rama.

This sounds like something I need. Where I live, the parking's tighter than a nun's hoo-ha. Can you post pics?

I don't see how a pole is going to help so much, drive your car for a month or so and you should get a feel for where the bumpers are.

I had no idea what tight driving way until I started here. Its not so much the parking that's the problem, its the driving down an alley with cars parked on either side and another driving straight at you. 50 million people on a peninsula the size of my left nut, things get compacted.
Parrallel parking is super easy when you drive a RHD in a LHD country. The other day I parrallel parked on the left side of a one way street. That blew my mind.

I'll disregard that statement based on grammar alone.

This kid is obviously not doing this for the functional aspect of it, and money spent on a disappearing pole is money wasted. I don't care what kind of "enthusiast" you think you are, this is a dumb idea.

Nobody is going to think your 1992 prelude is cool because you have a motorized pole that looks like an alien lesbian artifact on your front bumper.

As much as I regard your informative posts, I believe that everyone should be able to mod their vehicles in any manner they wish (form or function, wise). It's no different than threads about front lips or bodykits. There is no "mis-information" in this thread, just a bunch of flaming and name calling. Plus, it's over a year old!

Not everyone has the same ideas of what "looks" good on their cars as you, which also makes this scene so unique.

I completely understand what you're saying, but at some point, it just turns into a complete money pit for no good reason.

I've always been biased away from spending tons of money on cosmetic mods, they just make no sense to me.

There are a few worthwhile purchases from jdm land like the headlights and foglights, but the bumper pole is just over the top if you ask me.

However, this all is in my opinion, and I believe there should be room for opinions on this forum, esp on threads like this.
