Yes, I just bought a 1994 Honda Civic DX W/ Slow *** SOHC non Vtec motor..

Anyway, I beive in taking care of a car as you would a human body(as gay as that sounds)
So I am doing alot of work to get her healthy and looking good again.
Due to the prievious owner expolding radiator hoses, blowing head gaskets so many times the head was warped, there is HARDCORE water stains ALL over the engine bay.

I have gotten where I can reach, stuff clean simply by some soap and water, and a few times engine degreeser, BUT, the HARD to reach spots are annoying me cuz I cannot get it clean and its noticable.
Parts like Right behind the intake mannifold, under all the Hard lines.

I herd something about some stuff called "gunk" or mabey thats the manufacturer, but I cannot find the gunk ****. I have looked in my local auto stores and all they sell is Engine degreaser.... like the purple ****, in which peeled the paint right off my fuel filter.

I need suggestions, opionions, and hopefully yuou have had the same experience!
