If you pull down the shift boot, the shifter goes all the way up to the shift **** correct? Or is there a part that attaches onto the shifter other than the shift ****?

And if pull the shift boot down, do you see any type of screws holding it down?

Just asking because if you do not see anything bolting the **** down, then you just rotate the **** counter clockwise. So towards the left. if you are facing the front of the car.

Twist the bad boy really hard, must be pretty snug or something.

The shift **** is two pieces, the thing that says momo is a cover for the screws, untwist that botom metal piece, inside, like that guy above said, there should be three allens, do that and you're set.

Get a wrench. Tape the tips so it will not damage the bottom end of the ****. Twist the f*cker off.

Yes, turn the momo thing so that it goes down.

The there will be three allen screws holding the **** on.

Undo those and pull the **** off.

every momo shift **** is is held in place with 3 allen screws.

to get to it, u have to uncrew the "momo" cap out. i forgot which way, but im guessing its clockwise.

once that is removed, everything should be common knowledge.

if you cant figure that part out, you shouldnt be driving.

Maybe he is turning the momo part counter clockwise instead of clockwise.

Counterclockwise will make the momo part go up, which gives you nothing because the shift **** is in the way.

Ok you see the little black part that says MOMO, it is right under the leather ****, but above the shift boot. That piece unscrews from the know. If you are looking at it just like this picture you would grab the little black part and turn it to the LEFT, this will unscrew the balck part with momo on it. This will reveal the three little set screw that actually hold the **** to the shifter. I have the same **** and this is how you take it out. You do not need vice grps, pliers or anything else, just a small allen key to loosen the 3 little screws.
