Hey guys,

When you hear rust, whats the first place you think of? Thats rite the rear quarter panel. Mine is redonkulus. The pass rqp has rust all around it and the plastic piece is dangling off and i just keep sticking it back up in there but its comes back down. Next thing is, there is rust all over the area where the spare tire sits. I dont understand how that must rust can get there. Its not as bad as the rqp but there is sitting water. I open my trunk and pull up the thing to see if there is any water sitting there and ofcourse there is. and this is when we have good weather, w/ no rain or snow. I guess my questions would be how do i fix the rear quarter panel? I heard that they have patch kits for it. Let me know if they have sites that sell it. Next question is were is the sitting water coming in from in the trunk and causing the rust? I checked the weather stripping around the trunk and its looks fine visually. If thats the problem, then is my local auto parts store going to have that weather stripping or dealer only?? Well this is bugging that **** of me. Thats one thing i cant stand. I know its a 17 year old car, but ive seen some CLEAN efs w/ little or no rust.

Taillight Gaskets let water in like a bitch, drop the rear seat and watch what happens when it rains, you may have to open an Umbrella.

 

well i have that taillight section were it says CIVIC but doesnt light up, well that full of water and it drips down when you have the trunk completely open.

I have the same problem brother, mine is worst then yours though. I never even seen rust back their on a ef until I saw it on mine.

 

my **** started to rust very little and it just had a new paint job damn it !
