trunk leak no trail
Hey guys
I've noticed water in my trunk and spare tire area so I removed everything out of the trunk including the fabric pieces. I found a small hole near the stock welding and put silicone there and it solved that problem.
On major downpours I find some water ONLY where the spare tire is (I took that out too) There is no trail from the sides, it just finds it way to a tiny puddle where the spare tire would be. Above is is the rear deck, and there is no dampness or water droplets at all.
I have checked the roof drains and those are fine, tail light gaskets are fine, and the weatherstripping/molding around the trunk is nice and squishy with no tears holes. I even poured water all around the trunk and found no new water inside.
What could be a possible leak or hole I am missing?

Re: trunk leak no trail
This may not be it since it's at the top, but my coupe leaked terribly from the welding seals along the sides of the trunk. I think this is where you sealed with silicone? Try searching for leaks there.
Use the old fashioned hose method. Get in your trunk and have a friend spray everywhere and see where it comes in from.
