whoever owns the Skunk2 complete catback exhaust system, i believe its called megapower n1 style cat back, something like that, does the pipe running from the cat to the muffler go ABOVE or BELOW the rear lower control arm?

 

should go above, i dont see how any piping would go under the control arm.

I am trying to figure out if my exhaust setup is loud or considered quiet.

I need to attend a meet and hear other exhaust setup on the Teg to notice the differences.

 

they actually have exhaust systems where the piping goes below the LCA. stupid design and no good for lowered vehicles. my integra is lowered and this is why i need to make sure before purchasing. they have sound clips of the exhaust on team-integra. its about 4secs long. sounds deep and its pretty clean. as long as you have your cat and resonator on, it shouldnt be to ricey...

 

that is pretty stupid if they actually designed a exhaust system to go under the lca. that would get the sh*t smashed out of it on most tegs.

I'd have to say its pretty f*cking loud....People use to say the could hear me coming from 6 blocks away....and forget about long car drives....mine was sooo crazy loud that it would give me a head ache after about an hour of driving, but yet again I have a gutted interior with no sound deadening material.

IMO I would advise on not getting the mega power system.

I'll see if I can find an old video clip from inside/outside of my car. I took the system off 3 months ago, and now enjoy driving my car again.

 

The RSR GT2 goes under the lca or gas tank, and people have problems with it all the time, but its for non street use though.
