What the easiest way to clean inside of lense w/o taking apart?????

Default What the easiest way to clean inside of lense w/o taking apart?????

i need to know what would be the easiest way to clean dust from the inside of my headlights 98+ without taking them apart. i tried a blow gun but it wont take the dust off. i know this may sound stupid but someone told me to take a lil bit of water drip it in side swish it around drain it out then dry it wil a blow gun will that work or what??

basically trying to get in front the of the projector galss into the main housing

cause the only thing i can get in that far was a big zip tie. thats why i said use some water swoosh some around drain it out then just use a blow gun to dry it all out

When I worked on flood cars and the lights got water in them I used a mixture of rubbing alcohol (so it would dry fast) and purified water (so it would not leave any hard water deposits). I think I did a 70/30 or 60/40 of rubbing alcohol/water. That should work to get the dust out of the headlights also.

just open them up. it takes 10 mins to open, 2 mins to clean and another 5 to close.

yea but i heard its a bitch to seal them so that no moisture gets inside them i dont want that though

the alcohol advice seemed pretty good... otherwise, just open them up, clean, and pop them back together... you won't have a problem

yes but isnt it a bitch to re seal them !!! so they dont get moisture in them when there on the car
