Ok I have to question if this will work right. I have a spare head that I plan to put on my car but its from a 93 Ls and my car is a 99 Ls. I'm only swapping the head along with internals, nothing else (IM, Dist. ,etc....). Now I heard that the cams are different from the the 93 to the 99. What's different about them? What Side effects would I see if I used the 93's on my motor? Would my car run right? Please LMK. Thanks.

 

swap the head...stop worrying ...the cams are just slightly more agressive...nothing to write home about...the older heads also dont flow as well as the newer ones...thats about it

 

Simple valve adjust and go play

 

Use your 99 LS valve cover. PCV is different.

 

I didnt think the valve covers were interchangable from the b18a to the b18b... but what the hell do I know

 

yeah I already put that on my new head.....I'm just worried about the other stuff working right.
