Default GSR block and LS head

I was just wondering if a LS head will work on a GSR block.

yeah it should bolt right up, but then you would have to get a new harness for the ecu, and a non vtec ecu.

Or, you can chip a vtec ecu and disengage the vtec

so i can run a gsr block on a ls head with a ls ecu and harness. cause i already have to ecu and harness for a ls. also do i use a ls head gasket or gsr and are the timing belts going to be the same.

are you sure? If you have to run an oil feed line for ls/vtec why wouldn't you with vtec/ls?
Also, i don't care how temporary it is, it seems like more work than it's worth.

more work because head gaskets are not reusable need a new one everytime you take of the head, not only that if you don't really know what your doing its not going to be a over the weekend job. possibly weeks, so it would be better to wait it out a few weeks and do it all at once...then haveing to tear apart your head just to do it again the next wekend.
